Myself, and many others find the requirement to signup for games by 4pm EST ridiculous.

People have busy schedules, or simply forget to put their availability in. I've got a lot going on in my life, I forget the little things sometimes. Not to mention, a West Coast guy might have gone out partying the night before and slept until 1pm. That's not an unreasonable scenario is it?

Most of the league finds this requirement not necessary.

By punishing players for not submitting their availability, you actually end up just hurting management because they are short one player.

This rule does not help management whatsoever. Managers still have to constantly nag players to get their availability in, so why punish them?

A reasonable compromise would be allowing management to give a player a strike for not registering their games by a certain time, or just allowing them to choose which games you play in. This would encourage a good relationship with your team's management as well.

Suspending players from participating the whole week accomplishes absolutely nothing (besides forcing me to waste time writing a petition that everyone agrees with).

Remove the requirement to signup for games by 4pm Sunday.
