The BBC intends to cut the number of Newsround episodes from its daily schedule and move most of it onto its website.  This will effectively kill off a vital source of information to children across the UK.  Newsround brings key events to our children in ways that they can understand and manage, opening their eyes and hearts to whats going on in the world around them, both near and far.  And it does this in a way that means that the adults caring for them are usually around to answer any questions or soothe any fears.  Moving the majority of the programming onto a website based on clicks will eliminate all of this.  We ask that Ofsted refuse the BBC's request and keep the number of daily Newsround bulletins as they are, and where they are.
