Why this petition matters

Started by Jesse Kocher

On September the 8th, 2020, the announcement trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity was released to the general public (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifm8tpcO4vw.) It showed off the new game, and it was a surprise to almost everyone, even devoted fans of its inspiration, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Something that was interesting about this however, was the cover art that came with the trailer. It displayed the usual characters from botw, but there was one difference. There was a new, unnamed character, that looked like a small, white coloured guardian.

After people first discovered this new, unique character, they began to become attached to this brilliant new addition to Zelda's cast. But of course, they didn't know what to call him. However, a nickname was created, and has since taken hold of the internet. The name was 'Juggy', and many have come to hold the name close to their hearts, as it perfectly suited the already outstanding character design, whilst also adding a little more depth to the character itself.

However, it has come to the immediate attention of many 'Juggy' fans, that this name is not official. Seeing this character under a different name, or perhaps even with no name at all, would be devastating. I would personally love you to sign this petition, so that we can make it official, and I think so would thousands of other Zelda fans.

Signing this petition will not only solidify peoples love for this upcoming game, but would help make the community feel more valued.

I personally thank you for your consideration, and for taking the time out of your day for reading (and hopefully signing) this petition. Three cheers for Juggy!
