I have created this petition due to the anxiety and uncertainty of childcare providers working in the private sector as Nannies. 

Nannies should not be classed or perceived to be essential or key workers. They should be allowed to stay at home, social distance and take care of their own families as instructed by the Government. Many employers are putting increasing pressure on Nannies to continue travelling to work using pay as a bargaining tool. Unless a Nanny is working for key workers and is happy to continue then Nannies should stay home on full pay until the Governments restrictions are lifted and this terrible crisis has abated. The Government and other agencies have not made it clear for employers when making their decisions.
