The news of the assassination of Commander-in-Chief Qassim Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, as two high-ranking military figures in Iran and Iraq, was so regrettable that all peace-loving and freedom-loving people as well as all human rights advocates must condemn this act of war.

Now the question is: "Do you condemn this terrorist and warmongering act of the United States?"

On January 3rd, 2020, the U.S. Army, using a war drone, assassinated a high-ranking military figure, General Qassim Soleimani, who had arrived at Baghdad Airport during an official visit at the invitation of the Iraqi government and was officially welcomed by Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, a senior Iraqi military man. The two, along with the accompanying delegation, were hit by a drone at the exit of the airport.

It is a gross violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1269 of 19 October 1999, Resolution 1368 of 2001 and Resolution 1373 of 28 September 2001, which establishes the right for all states to a legitimate defense against terrorist attacks under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.

Therefore, this was undoubtedly a terrorist act carried out by the direct order of the President of the United States, for which he has formally assumed responsibility.
