The year 2019 marks 400 years since the atrocious Trans -Atlantic Slave Trade. All Africans and people of African descent must understand that without uniting all black people from the continent and the diaspora, Africa may never realize her destiny.  Neo-colonizers may capitalize on existing divisions to our own detriment. Our small individual countries are a laughing stalk to the world. When we unite as a people, we will have a market of over 1.2 billion people, and we wouldn't need neo-colonizers to cripple our economy with predatory loans. Weak leaders who are puppets for the colonizer cannot withstand the pressure from a strong group of black people. By signing this petition, you are advocating for Africa's liberation from colonial and neo-colonial "vampires" and their puppets. This petition calls on all African leaders and the African Union to create THE UNITED STATES OF AFRICA. Free Trade Zone is not enough. Africans need our own African Reserve Bank, one united army, our gold currency, and the adoption of two local common languages to serve as our national languages. Africa and Africans need a united one Africa to take its rightful place at the world's negotiation table, not as a timid beggar, but as a formidable force to reckon with. The so-called super powers are still in the "scramble for Africa" business, so we need to wake up from our ignorant slumber of ages. The time to unite and "manage our own affairs as black people is now. "United we stand; divided we fall".
