Why this petition matters

Started by Peter Allen

State Representative Laura Hall pre-filed a bill for removing the Confederate flag from the Alabama Coat-of-Arms, which has been long overdue. State legislature should go a step forward and replace that disunifying symbol of hatred, racism, and the antithesis of America with a symbol of the Tribes that were displaced during the Trail of Tears during the 1830's. These tribes include but are not limited to the Muscogee and Seminole tribes. Help us with this movement to remember where our land came from and respect its history.
