Why this petition matters

Started by Pilgrim Church Community Action Hub

The Positive Messages Knife Crime Project developed by the Pilgrim Church Community Action Hub Nottingham seeks to share positive and inspirational messages to avert any involvement with knife crime.

The Pilgrim Church Community Action Hub has have worked in partnership with local barbers and hairdressers to help spread the positive messages.

We believe that a positive message given at the right time and in the right way can make a positive impact on a person’s life for the better.  As part of this project we are also seeking for initially 100 young people from around Nottinghamshire who will sign up to our Positive Messages Knife Crime Pledge. Anyone can sign this pledge link for the following pledge statement:

‘I pledge to say No to knife crime and to promote the Positive Messages project. I pledge to be part of the 100 young people in Nottinghamshire that will share Positive Messages content verbally or by social media, with family, friends and my networks which has the simple but powerful potential to influence someone’s life for the better.'
