Why this petition matters

This government has failed the people.

Two-thirds of the public now say they have no confidence in the government's pandemic policies, which have resulted in 125,000 deaths so far - the highest in the EU.

Not content with havng left the EU, they constantly attack and blame the EU in a pettily childish and insulting manner, which is shameful for any adult to watch, as is also their willingness to break international law and even their own signed word.

They have misused public funds to give hugely extravagant amounts to their friends and supporters, whether they have relevant expertise or not, and moreover, refuse to provide accounts, or to insist the public see any value from the expenditure: £37bn is an eye-watering amount to spend on Test & Trace, for example, which largely appeared to do neither.

They appear hellbent on deriding and dismantling, through lack of funding, public services of any kind, particularly from the NHS, but also from teachers, and local councils, and have little interest in assisting businesses overcome the intricacies of continuing exporting to or importing from the EU, still our main market.

They take no responsibility for anything, and dodge any form of accountability.

Constantly, they misstep, mishandle, misinform (lie), and contradict themselves via U-turns or by denial.

This is a rogue government working against its own people, and needs to begone.

We ask MPs to address these causes of our lack of confidence in the current government.
