Parents of Children with Dyslexia in Texas We Need Your Help!

HB 3880 is a law related to dyslexia that is not acceptable as-is and needs amending to say that parents should choose whether Special Ed evaluations are right for their students, not Texas lawmakers.

The only way to make the needed changes is to tell the members of the Texas House Public Education Committee that you oppose the bill as-is and that you support the sensible amendments that Impact Dyslexia is proposing. These amendments including the key point that all dyslexic students should not be required to get a special education evaluation and that they should be able to keep the option of 504.
