Hey guys,

Recently on Scratch, we have been getting a lot of hatred and inappropriate comments. One of my friends on Scratch, @IGABMS, saying "Guys, I saw some really disturbing comments and projects on Scratch yesterday, and I'm reminded of why it is kinda unsafe to do the internet thing. We really need to make a project for people to comment the content of their servers, then it is logged forever and can be easily reported."

Our Purpose:
This petition's main purpose is to battle toxicity within the Scratch Community that has arisen over time. This studio is a place for Scratchers to discuss issues, whether it be plagiarism, disrespectful messages, etc, and seek advice from others, and generally feel welcomed and accepted in the community.

If you would like to support the us, feel free to follow the studio above and join discussions between other fellow scratchers regarding these issues.

While regarding these issues, please don't give hate to scratchers. Thank you. This is for all scratchers to calm down, and take a break from what's happening in Scratch.

Spread the Word:

Hi guys, I know that a lot of people are upset about all the "hating" going on. 
Everyone is leaving including some of the most famous scratchers. We need to put this behind us now and focus on the "good" going on around scratch. I don't know about you, but more and more people are branching out to different scratchers, and it is great!

So, what I'm saying is that you should spread the word out to scratchers who don't get a lot of attention, and check out their stuff. Add a positive comment to one
of their projects, and who knows. It could make their day! The basic idea is to have everyone check out people that they haven't met before, or are fighting with, and give them a positive comment.

Finally...

This Change is for projects about stopping Scratch hate. It is important because so many people quit scratch just because of bad and mean comments. We all want everyone to get an equal chance. And people should stop adding mean and disrespectful projects so people don't have to report and complain and leave scratch. And give it bad reviews.
