Our prime minister does not think compensating volunteer firefighters is a priority.
I strongly disagree. I consider they are selflessly doing a dangerous job at a time when they should be able to enjoy the company of their family and friends.

Let's help change our prime minister's mind.

I propose we suspend all perks, travel allowances, living away from home allowances and fringe benefits until the firefighters are compensated $2,000 a week for their time.
