We demand that a FULL investigation of Officer Steiger and that he be taken off of the streets of Macomb immediately, and fired. 

Macomb Officer Gavin Steiger appears to have a pattern of targeting black woman and their families for racial profiling, false arrest, police brutality, and needlessly putting lives at risk. We believe that Officer Steiger should be immediately investigated for domestic terrorism, fired, and held accountable to the FULL extent of the law.

• Magen and Corey Kelly are victims of racial profiling, false arrest, illegal search and seizure of their property, and were held in the McDonough County Jail for an alleged minor traffic violation.
  • Corey Kelly is a two-time war veteran, having served in the military, and Magen Kelly his wife, is a law-abiding citizen with an impeccable record.

• Ariel Harrison is also a victim of Officer Steiger's racial profiling, false arrest, and was held at McDonough County Jail for 5 days for a crime she did not commit.

  • Officer Gavin Steiger transported Ariel to the McDonough County Jail over accusations of her drinking and driving (DUI) when they had no evidence of it - no breathalyzer or field sobriety tests were performed at the scene, during arrest or detainment.
  • In the video Officer Steiger assisting a drive stun into the back of a handcuffed petite black disabled mother who is facedown on the concrete by kneeling on her neck with his knee. Ariel was tased at least 5 times, and suffered a closed head injury as a result of this brutality

• Officer Gavin Steiger also has tattoos that have been associated with white supremacist and domestic terrorist groups by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
