"We're not gonna take it, never did and never will..."

The butt-ugly and untalented Jennifer Lopez totally butchered Times Square at 2021's Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, as those darn UK Tier restrictions  prevented Pete & Roger -- and perhaps the new Broadway cast of TOMMY -- from proclaiming '21 was gonna be a good year! And in 2022, LL Cool J had to cancel due to testing positive for Covid-19. And this past year, was some legendary 80s acts like Duran Duran & New Edition, which wasn't so bad. 

Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve has disappointed countless fans of real music like myself over the years, snubbing acts like the Who, Queen + Adam Lambert, Elton John & Darlene Love in favour of auto-tuned, surgically enhanced no-talents like J-Lo. And ever since Mariah Carey's epic 2016/17 lip-sync fail, I've gotten on my knees and prayed that they would give the Who -- or Roger himself -- a chance to ring in the new year the right way! (I still haven't forgiven them for rebooking her in 2018, BTW.)

So I am again asking every Who down in Whoville, the tall & the small, to join together with the band for the drop of the ball! Put the "rockin'" in back in New Year's Rockin' Eve! We won't get fooled again!
