Islamophobia is increasing in Canada and Muslims do not feel safe in their own country, Canada.  Recognizing that Islamophobia exists is not sufficient anymore.  It is time have a law that fights and punishes Islamophobia.  Muslims contributed and continue to contribute to the development of Canada and they must be protected from hatred acts, words and actions.  Only a federal law making Islamophobia a crime can stop islamophobia.

Honorable Premier Minister Trudeau, it is now time to act and make your support for the Muslim community in Canada a reality.  You, as the leader of this country, have the power send a strong message to extremists and supremacists in Canada and in the world that Canada does not and will never tolerate that the Muslim community or any other community gets attacked.
