As the Bernards Township Historian I'd like to present to the Township Committee a petition to "add" Historic to our namesake in future references to our town.

Nothing changes except we start using the term "Historic" moving forward as we promote our town. No changes to historic districts, no additional property taxes, no building restrictions.... it's just to add the label "Historic" and honor township history.
