While I appreciate the celebration of the female form and sacred life giving source and infinite pleasure well, and congratulate u 2 on ur record breaking success and how it has inspired people worldwide to move their bodies and connect, I feel and fear that certain lines in it can confuse and sway people of all ages in a dangerous direction. If music is the ultimate medicine and as Marina Abramovic would claim—the highest form of art—it must have some power of influence. I know that the line:

is originally sampled from another song, but what does that really mean? I appreciate reclaiming words by their initial definitions and regrounding them in their meaning—BITCH!—for instance. A female dog. Why should it be used in a derogatory fashion against women? Dogs and females are powerful, let’s use it and unleash its linguistic power! But whores? If I recall correctly Cardi, u on another track insist u r not selling sex only dances aka entertainment. Megan, u have a line in WAP about how he will pay ur tuition for ur WAP—but is that really y u let him inside? Can anyone truly put a price on ur precious pussy? As someone who personally never wished to sell sex but did, I can speak firsthand that there is a cost on ur soul and in mi case and for many others mi health that no amount of money can buy back.

What if oUi rewrite the song with a few amendments and give the additional proceeds after u take ur personal cuts for ur time, energy and effort and donate to a an anti-sex trafficking organization? Or maybe one on topic of education? I know Girls Inc. of Lynn of Project Soar in Morocco just to name 2 of what could be considered countless organizations could use the help. And in the process oUi can rethink our words and maybe even invent new ones to break the shackles of language others impose on us. I am personally white but could have kids dark as night one day and feel like the word niggas should go too. Not to erase history but to apply the power of creation and the show of force over derogatory systems. I feel that way about all racial slurs but that is the only one in this song and fairly so given the current context and climate oUi exist in. But fairly so could be rewritten to something courageously innovative.

I don’t need money, credit or clout for this. Clout is actually a fav song of mine too but I don’t listen anymore because I wish it said something different than “no cure for the IG disease.” I personally wish there was a cure. I would prefer people brand in their brains the question of “what is the IG disease” and “how can oUi cure the IG disease” but in a more rhymey way or sleek way to fit the tune.

I am someone who has done all kinds of shit and frequently has told people that violate mi to kill themselves, especially on IG, but really I mean their egos. Maybe that’s too vague for the masses too. I have known many suicidal people in mi life and I always fight to keep them alive even if they have tried to kill mi in the process. What could I say that would be better but still in the brevity of wit with life saving healing power?

But back to whores, it may be the oldest profession in “the book”, but women have also been oppressed and left without options since the beginning of time. If it’s ur house, are u really inviting whores without intention of offering them some other opportunity u can advertise more in line with their soul purpose? Or do u genuinely believe it’s their sole purpose?

Of course there is so much music with so many lyrics that disturb mi, and I am someone who hasn’t even made any music so woe is mi whatever that means, easy to “criticize”, but this is not a critique. It’s more of a public service aid, u r a brave mother cardi and mi and Megan and many of us could be one day. What direction do oUi want to guide our daughters in? If the devil is in the details, consider mi at this moment the devil’s advocate.

I’m not savvy with any musical programs, and I’m not on any social media since I feel like they unjustly censor human body pArts and truth while taking great status and not using it 2 censor genocide-inducing actions worldwide against people of all colors of the rainbow and religions, but if based on what I’ve shared here u can think of a way for mi 3 personally help this mission I’ll be happy 2. Maybe some people that read it can help with the rest, although I don’t doubt ur own personal resources.
