Why this petition matters

Started by Dwight Moore

Nine states and the District of Columbia have a Medical Aid in Dying law. Arizona does not.

We seek signatures to petition the Arizona congress to support the effort of passing such a law. This law makes it legal for a competent adult suffering from a terminal illness to request and obtain prescribed medication that would allow a peaceful death on their own terms.  Medication must be self-administered by ingestion (not by injection or other means). Medical aid in dying is not suicide. Legally or in any other respect.
