Anwyl homes are planning to develop 49 houses at the top of Nant Y Gamar road, surrounding the school.

This is a very special school and one that needs defending to protect the children.

This petition isn't just for the school, but all of Llandudno.

This is a greenbelt site and if we lose this battle, then brick after brick will be laid and it is highly likely that we will lose a significant amount of Llandudno's green space. BODAFON FIELDS WILL BE NO MORE. There are plenty of brownfield sites that can accommodate construction.

DONT forget to verify your email address after signing, otherwise, your vote won't count. 

The more signature we have the better, and we need thousands of signatures to successfully oppose the development.

Please remember that this is individual opposition and not a household or group opposition, so if you are in a household with multiple people that object then please do so on an individual basis.

This is our last stand to defend the school and local environment, and Anwyl seems to think they have this in the bag, and they have treated those who have raised queries or attended meetings with utter contempt.

The development and planning process is being managed by Sat Plan on behalf on Anwyl. The planning application is being submitted week commencing the 7th of June.

The proposed development site will prevent future plans for the school to increase its capacity (Which is already known to the local council). 

Ysgol Y Gogarth provides essential services to its pupils and carers, and this development will have a negative impact on their unique ecosystem.

The children of Ysgol Y Gogarth deserve the right to be protected, and their environment should not be compromised.

Ironically the term Anwyl in Welsh means 'Dear', so in essence, they are Anwyl by name and not by nature.

Imagine the disruption that will be caused to the school and its children during the construction phase and the everlasting effect of houses that will permanently encroach on the children's home/environment.
