Why this petition matters
Started by Paola maria Wakim
- As the world's largest rainforest, the Amazon plays a crucial role in keeping our planet's carbon-dioxide levels in check. Plants and trees take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen back into the air in their process of photosynthesis.
This is why the Amazon, which covers 2.1 million square miles, is often referred to as the "lungs of the planet": The forest produces 20 percent of the oxygen in our planet's atmosphere.
And now the Amazon has been burning for 3 weeks, 83% of the rainforest is devastated by the fire, and many animals may have died, but unfortunately no one is doing anything for "The Lungs Of Earth" and this is really serious
Help us extinguish the fire, reforestate burned zones with triple the amount of burned trees, save and heal all the animals that were victim of the wildfire in order to save this site and make it better than before
Let's do something now that the future generation will thank us for
