5G is on the verge of being implemented in Spartanburg County, starting in downtown with plans to expand throughout the county. 

The expansion of wireless radiation and 5G millimeter wave technology within residential and school areas is a serious issue. Accumulating research demonstrates how exposure to wireless radiation can have adverse biological effects on human health. 5G cell towers are more dangerous than other cell towers for two main reasons. First, compared to earlier versions, 5G is ultra high frequency and ultra high intensity. Second, since the shorter length millimeter waves (MMV) used in 5G do not travel as far (or through objects), with our current number of cell towers the cell signal will not be reliable. To compensate many more mini cell towers must be installed. It is estimated that they may need a mini cell tower every 2 to 8 houses, with some sources indicating 5G could require cell towers on every street corner. This will greatly increase our RF Radiation exposure.

5G is not a simple upgrade in cell service. This is a major increase and change in the amount and type of radiation to which all of us will be exposed 24/7, whether we use the service or not. There will be no escaping it. 

There is no scientific evidence to support any claim of safety for 5G. Residents of Spartanburg County have the right to know if this technology is safe before it is installed where we live and work, and where our children attend school.  Zero tests have proven the safety of 5G!

The 5G rollout is the biggest biological experiment in human history, since they plan to measure public exposure levels and health consequences AFTER the rollout. This is illegal under the Nuremberg Code, which forbids experimentation on human beings without informed consent. 

Another important issue to consider is that implementation of 5G in residential areas will devalue homes, particularly if you are the unlucky homeowner who has a mini cell tower on their property. Studies show homes near cell phone towers are devalued up to 25%. In addition, there are some insurance companies who are refusing coverage for those who have health issues due to 5G.
