Do you want to see gas stations and fast food drive-thru restaurants on the French King entryway into Greenfield?

Last March, as part of a deal to get a new library, 10 members of the Greenfield City Council voted to kill the French King overlay district—and to weaken our Major Development Review law. These votes opened 162 acres of protected land to the worst kind of strip development: gas stations and fast food joints. 

The library vote is already on the November ballot. The city council, on its own motion, can put the French King zone on the ballot too—and allow voters to decide the future of the French King without having any impact on the Library. And the ballot will cost taxpayers nothing because the  November ballot is our normal biennial election.

THE VOTERS OF GREENFIELD CAN RESCIND THESE VOTES FOR STRIP DEVELOPMENT  IN NOVEMBER—IF THE CITY COUNCIL PASSES A MOTION TO PUT THEM ON THE NOVEMBER BALLOT.
