I believe the time is right to acknowledge the sentiments and will of the overwhelming majority of Filipinos, both in the Philippines and worldwide and rename NAIA as Manila International Airport. 

I am aware of the history of the reasoning of the naming, however, there is an argument to say there were many ‘heros’ or National figures of importance in Philippine history. Why is the Airport not named after Dr Jose Rizal for example?

By keeping the name simple, referring to the city where the Airport is actually situated is far better and less confusing for Filipinos and tourists alike.
