The animated series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was a groundbreaking, high quality children’s show that lasted nine seasons and even had a theatrically-released movie. It was able to capture audiences both young and old with its engaging characters, important lessons, and a tone that did not talk down to its intended young audience.

There have been numerous DVD releases of the show including themed episode compilations and full seasons. However, there has not been a single release of the show on Blu-Ray. The four spin-off Equestria Girls movies received Blu-Ray releases, but not the main show itself.

And so, with the show having celebrated its 10th anniversary, it seems like the perfect time to finally release this landmark animated series in high definition. There are hundreds if not thousands of fans around the world who would love to own and preserve this show in its highest quality format. I personally would pay upwards of $150 for it.
