Why this petition matters

Started by emma jarvis

David Dorn tragically lost his life in the riots and protests of the Black Lives Matter movement. David was checking a friends Pawn Shop, responding to an alarm in North St. Louis city centre, at the early hours of Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020. At around 2:30am he was shot in his torso and sadly passed away whilst bleeding out on the pavement. David was a police captain for the St. Louis Metro Police Force and retired over a decade ago, he was not wearing a uniform at the time he was shot. Please sign this petition to get David Dorn the justice he deserves, it is incredibly heartbreaking that the only posts I have seen regarding this man’s tragic death is from racists who are using his death AGAINST the BLM movement. I am using my white privilege to stand against this and get David Dorn his justice and I hope you will join me. Black Lives Matter. All Black Lives Matter. All lives cannot matter until Black Lives Matter. Thank you.
