Why this petition matters

Started by The Pinn Medical Centre

Save our local Walk In Centre - The Pinn Medical Centre

Over the last 10 years, the Pinn Medical Centre, in Pinner, Harrow, has served local residents, from 8am-8pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, when they have been unwell, as a fast and effective alternative to our already overloaded local Accident & Emergency department.

Harrow CCG are looking to slash funding for this invaluable local resource, to the point where the Pinn Medical Centre may have to close its doors to the local community. Without this precious funding, by the end of the year, the walk in service will probably have closed.

As far as we are aware the Harrow CCG is making no extra provision for patients to be seen elsewhere if this service closes. We believe that everyone should have 7 day access when they are ill.

We strongly believe that the residents of Harrow deserve an 8am-8pm Walk in Centre, open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

PLEASE HELP US TO STAY OPEN BY SHARING AND SIGNING THIS PETITION below or by logging onto ON CHANGE.ORG . PLEASE DO SHARE THIS WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY. MORE THAN ONE PERSON IN THE HOUSEHOLD CAN SIGN. WE WANT TO GET 50,000 SIGNATURES TO SHOW THE CCG HOW MUCH OF AN IMPACT THIS WILL HAVE ON THE LOCAL AREA.

You do not need to DONATE MONEY THROUGH THE CHANGE.ORG BOX THAT COMES UP – this does not go to The Pinn or patients.

In addition, we are working with our Patients' Association to gather support to keep the Walk -In Centre at the Pinn open. Help us to stay open by signing and sharing this petition. If you are a patient of the Pinn and over 16 years of age, we ask that you also join our Patients' Association to show your support and stay informed about what's happening: https://pinnpatients.org/join-us/
