During these hard times big box stores and other crowded and no-socially distant locations are staying open and yet snowmobile trails are going to close as of January 21st at 12:01am. This is done even though there is no medical or scientific basis. Participants are more then 6ft apart while at the same time wearing a balaclava and helmets. We the people and snowmobile community support the ban on social gatherings or going to a destination snowmobile trip should be dicosuraged. However just going for a ride with your local friends or family should be not only be allowed but encouraged as long as all public health guidelines are followed. Support this petition and encourage our health officials to change this misguided direction and keep our trails open! As we go through these trying times, now more than ever, we need to be healthy in our mind and body and this activity is vastly important to thousands of people to accomplish this. Reverse this decision and open the trails!
