My name is John Castagnini, I live in New York City. I have dedicated my life towards helping people with their Mental Health. What the New York City Health Department just did, is criminal. We the people MUST hold them accountable.

The CDC guidelines states: "In cases where a definite diagnosis of COVID-19 cannot be made, but it is suspected or likely (e.g., the circumstances are compelling within a reasonable degree of certainty), it is acceptable to report COVID-19 on a death certificate as “probable” or “presumed.”  Senator / M.D Jensen has called this ridiculousness into question.

Well, NYC just reclassified 3,778 past deaths as COVID-19 deaths, in one day. City officials released these new numbers of people that have already been issued death certificates for other causes, that were never tested for COVID-19. They simply died at home - they will never be tested for COVID-19… This is entirely as a result of the reclassification by New York City officials - this will result in NYC receiving a larger proportional amount of aid from the CARES Act.

This single decision, which was not based on testing, will have severe effects. Other cities may go back and do the same in order to increase their funding. If they don’t, they’ll miss out. This is destructive, and can cause even greater loss of life and it is adding to greater financial instability. 

Why?

Because decisions related to our state of lockdown, employment, and timing to return to normal, are ALL based on the data. The data is  being manipulated in a way that appears to cause a greater crisis, which will cause many to suffer. This can cause an increase unemployment, addiction, depression and even suicide. 

How many people are going to suffer or die, because their surgeries have been postponed, whilst many hospitals are running at less than 60% capacity? Special needs children are not receiving critical care whilst their schools are closed. In this way, economic decisions based on false data, have severe consequences for public health.

Why is the CDC issuing such guidance? Why is the CDC trying to inflate the COVID-19 numbers?

We demand that ALL deaths that were NOT TESTED for COVID-19 to be removed as having COVID-19 as a cause of death, on Death Certificates AND on ALL official listings.

We further demand that ALL deaths that DID NOT test POSITIVE for COVID-19 be removed as the cause of death on death certificates and on ALL official listings.

We are currently exploring the creation of a class action suit to be filed with retribution to be paid to ‘We the People’, as a result of the CDC and Department of Health's intentional, illicit deceptive actions.   

We have NO political party ‘ambition’ with this petition. Our only ambition is to demand that our government officials act in good faith on behalf of ‘We the People’ and pay the people for their damages and that they are prevented from ever doing this again...

Hopefully, one day soon, we will be able to say together: Thank God Corona Woke up ‘We the People’.
