Increasing up to 10% of the annual state budget expenditures for the extension of active life up to 100 years. NOT MILLITARY EXPENDITURES!

                                               Longevity Dividend: USA

Every day 115,000 people die in the world. More than 110 billion people have died until now. There are 9202 deaths registered every day in the US. In 2020 -  3,358,814.

It is believed that the only cause of death, regardless of age, is an illness. It's a disease that kills, not age.

The main causes of death are heart attack, stroke, lung and respiratory diseases, types of cancer, Alzheimer's disease, and other types of dementia.

Doctors and scientists believe that disease diagnoses at early stages can prevent early death.

It is also believed that a person can live up to 120 years, but the average age of people varies from 55 (African countries) to 84 (Japan, Hong Kong, Switzerland) years, depending on the country. The USA ranks 40-th with a lifespan of 78.5 years.

It would seem that the most important component of the state is the LONG life of a citizen of the state. It is not only humane to prolong the life of a nation, but also economically beneficial, because the longer a person lives and, moreover, if he is healthy, the more he can bring social and economic benefits to his country, which leads to the economic growth of the state.

It is important to emphasize that we are talking about healthy longevity, which can be achieved by early diagnosis and prevention of the development of the disease at an early stage. Well, if a person is already elderly and/or ill, then extend his comfortable life!

“In 2018, national health expenditures (NHE) in the U.S. grew up to $3.6 trillion, nearly 18% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The U.S. spends nearly twice as much per capita as other high-income countries, but mounting evidence demonstrates that a significant amount of American medical care spending does little or nothing to improve population-wide health outcomes - and is therefore wasteful, the researchers of UCLA Fielding School of Public Health found”.

However, judging by the budget expenditures of the state, a person's life is not valuable. “Researchers found that depending on the category and type of spending, estimates of the financial waste in the U.S. range from $600 billion to more than $1.9 trillion per year, or roughly $1,800 to $5,700 per American annually”.

“In life expectancy at birth, for example, based on 2019 figures, the U.S. reported 78.7 years; the equivalent in Canada, France, and the United Kingdom was 79, while Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Spain, and Sweden reported 80, and Japan, Italy, Norway, and Switzerland all reported 81. In infant mortality, the U.S. reported 5.8 deaths per 1,000 live births; Canada reported 4.7, the United Kingdom 3.9, France 3.8, Australia 3.1, Sweden 2, and Japan 1.9. U.S. rates by state varied widely, from 3.6 in New Hampshire, 3.9 in New Jersey, and 4.2 in California, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, to 7.1 in Oklahoma and West Virginia, 7.2 in South Carolina, 7.5 in Arkansas, 7.6 in Louisiana, and 8.3 in Mississippi.”

The funds allocated today for health, demography, and other similar, at first glance, areas are not related (as much as needed) to the financing of basic research on aging, the creation of "anti-aging drugs", conducting clinical trials on humans and other scientific activities that can radically increase the lifespan of a person. Also, these items of expenditure do not include support for independent organizations that use modern technologies, including artificial intelligence and big data to combat early death.

There is no exact data on how much is spent throughout the country on basic research on aging, conducting clinical trials, scientific research in the field of longevity, creating drugs that prevent early death, financing promising developments.

We propose to sign this petition, so that the country includes a separate expenditure in the budget "Longevity of the nation" in the amount of 2 trillion USD per year, with an increase of 500 billion USD each subsequent year, for the next 10 years. These funds will be used for basic research on aging, anti-aging therapies, conducting clinical trials of new developments, financing modern technologies using artificial intelligence and big data.

"Longevity of the Nation" should not reduce existing expenditures on health care, demography, and social policy, as well as other projects that are not related to the specified target areas of this article, should not be financed from the "Longevity of the Nation".

We assume that the most effective source of these funds would be the funds from cutting the budget for the armed forces and the maintenance of law enforcement agencies, as well as from the financial waste.

It is important that the funds allocated are directed to existing research groups, projects, companies that have achievements, specialized teams, and experience. Since the task of saving a country's population from early death is unlimited, funding can be extended to scientists and projects from other countries.

By signing this petition, each of us will be able to make a personal contribution to our longevity and the longevity of our loved ones, and in the next 10 years, try out new developments and have a chance to live a high-quality, healthy and active life for as long as possible.

The arguments about planet overpopulation, natural selection, life after death, and others against prolonging life are understandable. Increasing the lifespan does not lead to overpopulation, because according to scientists, our planet can "feed" up to 200 billion people who live simultaneously. Leading religions talk about the possibility of living longer than 100 years. Many species of animals, mammals, trees live much longer than humans, and the existence of the immortal jellyfish (https://www.science.org.au/curious/earth-environment/animals-can-live-forever and completely refutes the theory of the nature of death. We suggest that you have a choice - to live longer than the average age. Today, there is no such choice, most die within the average age.

If we do not collect the required number of signatures, everyone will lose: those who did not sign, those who signed, and all those who were supposed to implement this petition after collecting signatures.

Everyone has the right to a longer life. Whether this person will exercise his right or not is his choice. It is important to understand that today all the people of the world have no choice - we all live less than 1 million hours, and without breakthrough technologies in the field of combating aging, we will soon die.

Neither money, nor knowledge, nor access to modern medicine saved neither Steve Jobs (56), nor Microsoft founder Paul Allen (64), nor Bill Gates ' mother (65). Only in the USA in 2021 have passed away too early: Black Rob (51), Helen McCrory (52), Joseph Siravo (64), Barbara Shelley (88), DMX (50)  and millions of others died prematurely. At the same time, it is known that mostly socially active people live longer than 95-100 years: Nobel Prize winner Philip Anderson (96 years), actor Kirk Douglas (103 years) and thousands of others.

No one is immune from an early death: not the one with mansions and yachts, nor the one who lives an ordinary life. It is important now for the sake of ourselves, our loved ones and our children to unite and sign this document in one click.
