There are many taxpayers still waiting on their tax refunds. There are delays and no updates. It is unfair that taxpayers are still waiting on their tax refunds and not being processed within the 21 day time frame.

Facts: The government takes taxpayers hard earned money every year and earns interest on the payments. Once it is time for taxpayers to receive there refunds the government meaning the IRS always comes up with stall tactics to delay taxpayer’s refunds. Examples: 30 day reviews, 45 day reviews, 60 day reviews and no response from the IRS. This is all just to find or create a reason to hold on to taxpayer’s refunds. It is unfair to taxpayers. The government should be held accountable for all the delays and stall tactics, that have been put in place to hinder taxpayers and their families. 

The tax deadline was extended. It should not have meant taxpayer's suffer when they have e-filed their returns. IRS is an essential business that should still be processing the returns to help taxpayers during this pandemic. The phones are not being answered and no responses are being given and the as of dates are just changing at the top of the transcripts, but no tax refunds are being released. Taxpayers are struggling to make ends meet and there, tax refunds would help way more than a stimulus check.

If you could send out a stimulus check that quick. It is no reason taxpayer’s refunds have not been processed in a timely manner. Please release the tax refunds for taxpayers so that everyone can take care of their bills in this unfortunate pandemic that has happened. Taxpayer's need there tax refunds; please release them. No one wants to be evicted when the shelter in place order is lifted. If taxpayers had their tax refunds they could pay there bills and it would help a lot of families during this pandemic. Please sign petition and share to release refunds. The more signatures and sharing of the petition the taxpayer's will be heard.
