It is time to reopen the State of Arizona. Governor Ducey, the citizens of Arizona will hold you accountable in the court of public opinion for what you have done to their businesses and livelihoods. You should have made the decision to lead with strength and should have trusted your citizens.

Now that the damage has been done it was time for you to mitigate it and get us back to some semblance of normalcy immediately. You failed. 

All you had to do was to let history and the actions of your predecessors guide you. Did previous leaders respond to previous pandemics by reacting with fear and compounding the problem by telling their citizens to “run and hide” in their homes and by shutting down their means to make a living? The answer is a resounding NO. They allowed their citizens to work, pursue their dreams and provide for their families during adversity, just as they have done during each and every calamity our nation has ever faced, until now. Today’s leaders are weak in comparison to their predecessors.

Americans do not run and hide Mr. Governor. We are better than that.

Citizens of Arizona, let Governor Doug Ducey know what they think think of his leadership failure during the Covid-19 pandemic and petition for his recall.
