Please help save our village shop and Post Office.

The Co-op has decided that it wants to sell its shop and Post Office in Earlswood as it feels that it is too small with no scope for expansion.

                                                   However

It is a valuable amenity for local residents
The next nearest shops and Post Office are only accessible by car and we have no bus services

It is well used by visitors to the Lakes
It is conveniently placed for passing traffic
It runs at a profit

The Co-operative Society sells itself as a community based organisation supporting local communities. Now it wants to move out and leave our community with the possibility of neither essential shopping facilities nor Post Office.

It is a community hub, a place to shop but also a place to have a chat, a life-saver for some.

We need your support to persuade the Co-op to keep the shop and Post Office open.
