إن  إلسعي لرفع العقوبات عن السفير أحمد علي عبد الله صالح وإعادة النظر في القرار رقم 2216 هو مسعى وطني يمني و يمثل مطلبًا شعبيًا لملايين اليمنيين والعديد من رجال الدولة اليمنيين من برلمانيين وقيادات القبائل و المجتمع.

يعتبر السفير احمد علي من صناع السلام والدليل على ذلك انه نفذ كل القرارات التي اصدرها الرئيس هادي بتغييره من منصبة وتعيينه سفيراً لدى دولة الامارات ولم يشارك بالصراع الحاصل باليمن منذ بداية الأحداث الى الان وكذلك التزامه  بقرارات الامم المتحدة

احمد علي  قائد حقيقي قادر على إحلال السلام والاستقرار في اليمن ، وسيكون حليفاً قوياً وثابتاً للمجتمع الدولي في المنطقة.

إن عقوبات الأمم المتحدة ضد أحمد علي عبدالله صالح استندت إلى مكر سياسي دون أي سند قانوني أو حقائق، ولا توجد مبررات لوجودهاأو استمرارها ويجب إزالتها على الفور.

The quest to lift the sanctions against Ambassador Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh and reconsider resolution number 2216 is a Yemeni national quest that represents a national demand of millions of Yemenis and many of the Yemeni statemen including parliamentarians, tribes',  community, and civil society leaders.
