Please do not install a crosswalk across the Windward Traffic Circle.  Pedestrians will not be safe crossing directly across the island since drivers cannot see around the curve of the circle due to the traffic bollards placed around the circle and pedestrians will be at risk of being hit.  It is also important to discourage people from crossing to the island to protect the Robert Graham statue from vandalism and graffiti.  Mr. Graham is one of the most famous artists of the Venice Art Colony of the 70s and 80s and the only artist of the group of Mexican heritage.  Removal of the 'no pedestrians" signage will also allow campers to occupy the circle as they did before the signage was installed.
