FRENCH VERSION

Given the recent months-long closure of IRCC offices due to COVID-19, processing delays are naturally expected. But what about applications that were filed long before COVID-19 that have been pending a few months or maybe even a few years outside of normal processing times?

Indeed, we are thousands of skilled workers whose immigration processing is completed by IRCC, but still waiting to receive our PPRs.

WE ARE FRUSTRATED WITH THE PROCESSING TIMES AND THE LONG WAIT.

The disarray caused by the endless wait for our PPRs and CoPRs due to the COVID-19 pandemic is straining our morale and health. We live through a daily ordeal between incomprehension, lack of visibility, and the future of our out-of-school children.

WE LIVE IN TOTAL UNCERTAINTY.

We fully understand that this pandemic has disrupted the functioning of the IRCC, but we believe that the COPRs would not refuse to commit to sanitary measures imposed by the Canadian government. Therefore, we do not see why the IRCC does not issue the PPRs. Our applications are 100% complete. We have already

1) Paid and passed the languages tests

2) Paid for the diploma equivalence

3) Completed Medicals

4) Submitted Biometrics

5) Paid the IRCC’s fees

We already see ourselves as citizens of this beautiful country which opened the door to us and to which we answered YES with fervor.

This country is known for its traditions in human rights and social considerations in its immigration policies.

WE'RE SIMPLY ASKING FOR A DECENT TREATMENT BY IRCC AND AVOID INFLICTING SUCH DELAYS ON US.
