Black and Brown unarmed citizens are STILL being killed by police officers across the country. To make matters worst, these murderous police officers are not getting arrested or being charged. They are going back to their lives and homes and occasionally getting paid administrative leave pending an investigation. Much less common are charges and indictments. Meanwhile, minority communities are left picking up the pieces of their mangled lives while living in overlapping Traumas. Too often, feeling the weight of a system that demonstrates time and again that our lives do not matter. This must stop!

Ohio! We can change this. We have it within our power to lead the change our country desperately needs.

This petition is to demand our Governor- Mike DeWine to enact legislative change.  I am proposing that Ohio institute legal statues that Police the Police. Specifically, I am calling for Mandatory Minimum Responses when police officers kill unarmed citizens. 

The Proposed Mandatory Minimums Responses are:

1. Immediate Arrest

2. $500,000 Minimum Bail Bond

3. Un-Paid Administrative Leave

4. Indictment/ Charges Filed

This petition is our declaration to the State of Ohio, that we, the people, have had enough. We demand change! NOW!
