Ever since I discovered the original Journey Into Imagination attraction on YouTube, I instantly became hooked on Dreamfinder and Figment! They instantly became my favorite Disney Duo, and the fact that they were removed from the imagination pavilion made me feel devastated. They were removed to make way for an attraction called Journey Into Your Imagination, which ultimately became one of if not Disney’s worst attraction. It removed any references to the Dreamfinder, and only has subtle references to Figment. Most of the show scenes were empty, and barren of any imagination, unlike the original. It was also adjusted to fit the theme of the nearby show, Honey I Shrunk The Audience, based off the Honey I Shrunk The Kids movie. Of course, figment eventually returned after fans demanded that a new attraction be built, but not in his original form. He was now more of a nuisance to Eric Idle, or Doctor Nigel Channing in Journey Into Imagination with Figment. Now that Epcot is set to receive its overhaul, I think we need to divert Disney’s attention from building unnecessary attractions at Epcot such as Moana, Journey of Water, or the new sky bar, and divert the attention towards giving figment the proper attraction once again! Please share this petition with whoever you can so we can make this a possibility, and relieve those magical moments with the Dreamfinder!
