As the Lao Food Movement grows, so does the support from all over the world. There are tons of Lao restaurants in the world, but many hide behind categories such as 'Asian Restaurant' or 'Thai Restaurant' because "Lao Restaurant" is not available. It is the perfect moment to allow businesses and organizations that are Lao and Laotian to use "LAO Cuisine or LAO Food or LAO Restaurant" and fully embrace their culture with proper recognition, Facebook, please make it happen.  We ask for the selection "LAO Cuisine or LAO Food or LAO Restaurant" to follow suit with other social media counterparts that have already added that selection.  

This is important for the community because it will help people easily search for Lao restaurants around the world AKA on Facebook.  With this addition to the type of restaurant selection, the Laotian community can continue to identity as themselves and not behind other cuisines.  

Lao restaurants are small businesses and this is an effort to show support and easily identify the delicious Lao foods around the world.  Once we are able to get the name change, we will be able to get more traffic to these small businesses and help the community grow and thrive.
