Why this petition matters
The time to act is now. We need to be doing everything that we can to limit the catastrophic impact of the Corona virus pandemic. Now.
Our Government is not doing the right thing, so we as citizens and individuals need to do so. Now. Do not send your kids to school, keep them home and stay at home with them. We citizens need to enforce a self isolation model.
We should not panic, rather we should take all the immediate action we can to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved. We need to be rational. And that means doing what needs to be done. Now. We have the data on this and it is the right thing to do.
We need to pull together as citizens and show the Government how this is done. Everyone in Australia should be following the actions we are seeing in other parts of the world that are managing this pandemic as successfully as possible to slow the spread of this virus.
Scott Morrison - The schools need to shut - now. Any time wasted will only increase the health and economic impact. The messaging coming from the Australian Government at present is incorrect and wildly dangerous - at best.
We are also calling on the Australian Government to protect its citizens in every way possible, to show real leadership and guide this country through this crisis - rather than lead us of the cliff, as they currently are.
We have already seen the cost of the incorrect actions, and the outcome of the correct actions - in other countries. We have the data. To advise the population to act against this is criminal. We, the Australian people, will not accept or tolerate this.
