The Persian House Restaurant has been a staple the past 30 years in downtown Portland. End of April, Parsons Farnell & Grein LLP sent the owner of the restaurant, Mr. Houranpay, 73 years old, a termination letter and gave him a notice to vacate the premise by May 31, 2021. The Law firm is also not willing to negotiate with the restaurant for a new lease. 

2020 was a difficult year for many small business because of the pandemic and the Persian House was no exception. In addition, the restaurant was looted and vandalized during the Portland protest this past June.

By signing this petition, you provide your support to the Persian House Restaurant and you are asking Parsons Farnell & Grein LLP to reconsider their position. Greed should not be the source of motivation to get a new tenant in these difficult time. Instead, we should all support each other and lift each other to succeed.
