The NHL should respect its International players and introduce culturally accurate spellings of names on jerseys. Characters such as: ö, č, è, é, ë, å, etc. should be immediately added to all applicable player nameplates. This is an opportunity to respect the culture of all players, as well as make jerseys more marketable for customers oversees. It is a very small, yet effective, change. With some support we can achieve this and bring the NHL into the 20th century!
