For too long Minneapolis Precinct 4 refuses to take noise and safety complaints regarding ILLEGAL fireworks that effect residents all summer long. They send out public service announcements that state "do not call 311/911 about fireworks, as we cannot be bothered and will not respond". Commercial grade explosives are regularly deployed, creating extreme noise, dangerous conditions and fire hazards. Citizens of North Minneapolis demand that the City of Minneapolis step up and make resources available from mid June to mid July to curtail the disrespectful, disruptive behavior of lighting dangerous explosives any day and at all hours of the day and night.
