LAPD을 예산삭감을 이유로, 한인타운 관할 올림픽경찰서를 폐지할 예정이라고 알려졌습니다. 올림픽경찰서가 있었기 때문에 타운이 안전해 졌고, 어떤 사건사고가 있어도 신속하게 대응해 왔지만, 경찰서가 없어진다면 범죄는 더욱 많아 질 것이고, 그 피해는 고스란히 우리 한인들과 주민들이 보게 됩니다. 이에 한인타운 관할 올림픽 경찰서를 지키기에 서명으로 동참해 주시길 부탁드립니다.

As a result of recent budget cuts, the City of Los Angeles is considering the closing of the Los Angeles Police Department Olympic Station. Closing our community’s only police station will result in an even greater spike in crime and will jeopardize the safety of citizens in Koreatown.
