- This petition is concerning the consideration by the academic board for students to resume written examinations in the classroom.
In order to maintain the standard this great institution has regarding having the students best interest at heart, we humbly request for a rescheduling of written examinations.
We are witnessing an unpredictable pandemic with both our death rate and rate of infection climbing by the day; a situation that will put many lives and healths of students and especially lecturers at risk. The nature of the Covid-19 virus makes it almost impossible to guarantee the safety students should we return to school to write exams. In lieu of this, we, as the student body will like to suggest that we proceed with online examinations as some of our sister institutions have done.
