Since 2018 a huge number of players have been banned by PunkBuster in the following Battlefield games on PC: Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. The result of this ban wave is that the player bases are shrinking substantially to a point where the games' existence is threatened. This cannot continue, yet Electronic Arts and Even Balance (owner of PunkBuster) have shown no desire to help. With this petition I demand for action to be taken!

The petition consists of three acts: Aim, Goal and Ultimatum.

The Aim: To collect as many signatures as possible from all victims of PunkBuster's false-positive bans in Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 on PC.

The Goal: Upon a reasonable amount of signatures from false-positive victims, a joint complaint should be forwarded to senior decision makers from the responsible parties. This should hopefully motivate them to contribute to a peaceful solution.

The Ultimatum: As a last resort the case should be presented to a law firm, which will hopefully see the potential of taking the case to court. This should result in Electronic Arts and Even Balance being forced into lifting the bans of every player as well as compensate players for their losses (downgrade of purchased games, rent for game servers, damaged player reputation etc.).

I know a lot of players (including myself) have put a lot of effort into trying to persuade Electronic Arts and Even Balance to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, they have shown no willingness to cooperate. Hopefully this petition will gain a lot of interest and support, so we as victims can collectively express our displeasure and demand justice.

What happened to the ordinary principles of justice, that is 'everyone is innocent until proven guilty'? So far I have not seen any evidence from Even Balance, thus not proven guilty.
