Special mentions to: Andrew Laming MP and Luke John Gosling MP who were brilliant in their bipartisan (Federal) representation of the campaign, and have supported it from the beginning. Ray Palmer was just brilliant as he shared his personal experience losing his son to war and the impact of having to explain to him the story of Scott's medals.... just an amazing man! Thank you Ben Doyle Cox for making the KIS clasp (prototype). It may or may not be the final product but at least it helps us get this conversation moving forward. And to Daryl Hockley for mounting the medals for us.... you are an integral part of our team. Thank you to Blair Hickey for getting the producers of the Project on the hook. It was a brilliant piece of work. This is a team effort and we really are thankful for everyone who continues to share the petition and our posts. We would not have come this far without your support but we still have a long way to go so please write to your MPs and continue to share the petition with them. https://www.change.org/p/national-campaign-recognising-defe Write to your local paper and tell them about the campaign. We have to keep this moving forward. As many of you know, my husband (Kerry) is the organiser of the campaign and is still serving in the Defence so he cannot make any public comments. He is however so grateful for everyone's continued support and encouragement. It has been his dream for a long time, ever since the Blackhawk accident in 1996, to honour his fallen colleagues across ADF and First Responders.... he was very impressed with the production of the story on the Project and is hopeful that those who have made the ultimate sacrifice will be truly honoured.... officially and personally! It's simply the right thing to do! Please Prime Minister tell their story as it should be told.
