Help Restore the Siberian Taiga forests!
Help Restore the Siberian Taiga forests!
Why this petition matters
4 million hectares of Siberian Taiga forests have been burned down.
These are not the only fires happening around the globe, but they cover the largest surface so far. It is unimaginable!
We need massive collaboration between International authorities, international organisations (not just environmental - this affects many forms of life, many activities on a global scale), mass media outlets, sponsors or donors and volunteers in order to restore the Siberian forests.
No state alone can fight this type of destruction!
Human carelessness and ill-intent has caused these fires to happen! The fires have been caused next to logging sites, and this hasn't been the first time.

Nature cannot regenerate itself while it is being under massive stress on many fronts. Let us do our part in turning this disastrous situation around as much as it is in our human powers.
Help get this message across to as many people as possible - by signing this petition. When we unite, there is fertile soil for change!
Thank you!
P.S.: I live in Romania (SE Europe) and between 2003 and 2017 I've initiated and lead environmental projects in my country. Among them two national social movements: ”Let's Do It, Romania! 2010” - the country cleanup in one day, and ”We Plant Good Deeds in Romania 2011 - 2017” - the national afforestation movement based on volunteer work. These two projects have moved masses of people, local and national authorities, companies, other NGOs and media outlets. I believe these actions can be replicated on a global scale.
