Why this petition matters

Started by Jayanta Kumar Nath

Flood is always a big problem for state Assam . Like previous years flood situation in Assam continues for the worst.According to the central water commission water of  river Brahmaputra above flowing 1.5 cm above the danger level and increasing 2-3 cm per hour . Till now death of 11 people reported ,not only the humans but animals are also in danger .75 % area of Kaziranga national park has been affected by flood . Hundreds animals died and counting.almost all district of Assam affected .Lakhs of people became home less and No food ,no water to drink .At least 26 lakh people have been affected by floods in Assam. The water level of Brahmaputra River rose further, threatening lives of those living at near banks. By Sunday, the Brahmaputra was flowing above its danger mark in Guwahati, at Nimatighat in Jorhat, Tezpur in Sonitpur, Goalpara and Dhubri towns, and at Badarpurghat in Karimganj.

It's a long term problem ,can't solve with the few relief camp . We need proper management for the control of floods. Central government should take action on it as a national issue.we request central govt to take proper action on this matter ASAP.

It is a small step ,we all together can make it a remarkable one.

Thanks
