Why this petition matters

Started by Exposing ICBC

ExposingICBC.com is fighting ICBC (Insurance Corporation of British Columbia) for the rights of British Columbians for access to fair legal representation and medical opinion for personal injury claims and fair cost on auto insurance premiums.

ICBC has changed the rules for British Columbians when it comes to auto insurance. The mandated ICBC monopoly for auto insurance, a Province of British Columbia crown corporation, has written the rules of the road to serve its best interests, not the citizens of British Columbia. ICBC has attempted to rectify the "dumpster fire" that is the government monopoly with cost-saving reforms. These attempted reforms have been rejected as illegal by the B.C. Supreme Court.

Those who've suffered a no-fault accident have no recourse and have had their rights to medical and legal options illegally violated when it comes to determining fair compensation for personal injury. ICBC, along with the Civil Rights Tribunal, is the sole determinant of what a "serious injury" is. Is this fair? Should ICBC be able to determine the seriousness of an injury, thus placing a cap on injury compensation resulting from an auto accident?

We are fighting for the rights of British Columbians for access to fair legal representation and medical opinion for personal injury claims. There are no options for the people of BC.

This is why we're 'exposing ICBC'. Join us on Facebook to keep updated  on the latest ICBC news!
