Boris Johnson has just claimed that "too many care homes didn't really follow the procedures in the way that they could have" in reference to the Coronavirus. This is a disgraceful attempt to shift the blame for the high death toll onto the very sector left dealing with the crisis on their own. His comments have brought shame to the office of Prime Minister at a time of national crisis, and have insulted the many many people who have put their lives on the line to care for our loved ones during the pandemic. He should step aside and give his office to someone who shows some respect for our nation's heroes.
